9 IA Soldiers killed, injured in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed while eight others were wounded in an armed attack to the west of Mosul city.Security source mentioned to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “Unidentified gunmen blocked the road in front of a vehicle that transports Iraqi Army soldiers, who were leaving their military units to enjoy their vacation.””The gunmen opened fire towards the soldiers, killing one of them and wounding eight others,” the source added.”The security forces launched a raid-search campaign in the nearby areas looking for the attackers while ambulances transported the dead body of the soldier to the morgue and the wounded soldiers to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded. \END\
