Urgent – Dabbagh submits request to resume his parliament membership

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former spokesperson of the government and the head of Kafa’at bloc within the State of Law Coalition, Ali al-Dabbagh, submitted a request to the parliament to resume his membership.

A source within the Parliamentary Legal Committee stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Dabbagh submitted a request to the parliament to resume his membership instead of MP, Haytham al-Jouburi, who replace Dabbagh in his former post.”

It is worth mentioning that the government dismissed Dabbagh on the 29th of November 2012 for being involves in the corruption issues accompanied the armament deal between Iraq and Russia.
