Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Council of Ministers announced that “The CoM’s bylaw is prepared for vote.”

Mohamed Fadhil, the legal advisor of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Saturday “We prepared more than one draft for the Cabinet’s bylaw and the last of which was distributed two years ago.”

He added “The Cabinet’s bylaw is prepared and audited by the Council of State and by all the concerned sides, but Maliki did not want to display the bylaw for vote only after all the political blocs agree on its draft.”

Concerning the possibility of reconsidering the decision of postponing the local elections in Anbar and Nineveh provinces, the legal advisor said “From the legal viewpoint, the Cabinet has the right to reconsider any decision it takes.”
