Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Kamal al-Saadi, of the State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, described the Kurdish demands as “Illegitimate.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Some of the Kurdish leaders though that they will bring failure to the parliament and the Council of Ministers due to the political disputes and pressurizing Maliki, but their ideas were not correct and accurate.”

“The Kurdish demands are illegal and illegitimate,” he added, noting that “We call the Kurdish sides to adhere to the constitutional means represented by the Federal Court that they submitted a request to it where its decision will be obligatory to all sides and will not leave any justification for suspending their participation in the government.”

“No one can set conditions as before because the situation is completely different and some think that their suspension from attending the parliament session will collapse the political process and others think that suspending their attendance from the meetings of the CoMs will hinder it,” he pointed out.

“All these means failed and the society does not accept them anymore,” he concluded.
