Turkey launches US spy planes to monitor PKK elements in north of Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Army Staff announced that it launched US spy robot planes to monitor the PKK elements in north of Iraq.

The Turkish AS posted a report on its website “A Memorandum of Understanding was concluded in November, 2011 with the USA during the withdrawal of the US military forces from Iraq in order to use their spy planes to meet the needs of the Turkish spy.”

“This Memorandum gives Turkey full right to direct these planes which target the elements of the terrorist organization,” the report added.
