Urgent – ..9 persons killed, injured western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Nine persons were killed and injured including soldiers on Sunday due to a suicide bombing targeting Iraqi army checkpoint western Baghdad.

Security source told IraqiNews.com “A suicide bomber driving a car bomb detonated the car near army checkpoint that resulted in killing solder and injuring eight persons including three soldiers in Abu Ghraib district, 25 km to the west of Baghdad.”

“The army forces transported the dead body to the morgue while the injured people were admitted to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
