Barzani receives Governor of Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, received the Governor of Nineveh, Athil al-Nijaifi, on last Saturday.

A statement by Kurdistan RegionG Presidency cited “Both sides discussed the security situation in Iraq in general and especially in Mosul city,” noting that “They also discussed the issue of the Provincial Councils elections and the Federal Government decision to postpone it in some provinces.”

“They reviewed the current relations among the political sides in Nineveh province especially the cooperation between Hadba Slate and Nineveh Brotherhood Slate,” the statement concluded.
