Urgent – Hakim launches initiative of “Dhi-Qar, Cradle of Civilization & Gate of South”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, launched an initiative of “Dhi-Qar, Cradle of Civilizations and Gate of the South,” on Friday.

He stated during the ceremony of announcing Citizens Alliance in Dhi-Qar on Friday “This initiative involves ten points that support the province.”

“We believe that the province represents a key point in the human history and civilization where from this city, religions were launched and it exemplifies a gate for the deprived south of Iraq,” he added.

“This initiative involves ten points that consolidate the interests of the province,” he concluded.
