Political coalition: political majority government means return to sectarianism in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Patriotic Sons of Iraq Coalition, Abbas al-Mohamedawi, stressed that “The formation of the political majority government means the return to the sectarianism.”

Mohamedawi pointed out “The alternative of forming political majority government may lead to turning the sectarianism back to the country and waste the national accomplishment that aims at consolidating the national unity.”

Instead of this alternative, we call on the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Central Government to get to the dialogue table that gathers all the other political sides to settle the pending issues,” he added arguing “The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, is the closest figure to all the political blocs as he is known for his impartiality and rationality in dealing with the crises.”
