Turkmens protest releasing terrorists in Salah il-Din

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Hundreds of Turkmens gathered in front of Tuz Court in Salah il-Din province and blocked the main roads to protest Salah il-Din judiciary’s releasing for terrorists.

MP Mohamed al-Bayati of the Iraqi National Alliance said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “Hundreds of Turkmens gathered in front of Tuz court to protest releasing terrorists by the judiciary in the district,” noting “If the situation remains as it is, we will erect camps on the main roads.”

He called the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki to “immediately interfere and stop the transgressions happen to the Turkmens before things would turn sour,” confirming “The judiciary in Salah il-Din also began to target the Turkmens along with the terrorists.”
