IED dismantled in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) A security force managed to dismantle an Improvised Explosive Device to the south of Tikrit.Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The IED, which was emplaced near a house that belongs to a police officer, was dismantled by the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit in Yathrib neighborhood of eastern Balad district of southern Tikrit city.””The IED was dismantled without any human casualties or material damage,” the source added.
