Defense Committee summons Basra Police Commander

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Security & Defense Committee discussed with Basra Police Commander the security situation in the province.

Abbas al-Bayati, member of the Committee told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “The Committee summoned Basra Police Commander to discuss the security situation in the province and the challenges facing the security there and the needs to confront them.”

“The Police Commander presented, during the meeting, a brief report about the security posture and the events that took place in the city in recent,” he added.
