MP criticizes Shihristani’s wrong manipulation for Energy file in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Regions and Provinces Committee, Mansour al-Timimi, criticized the wrong manipulation of the Deputy Premier for Energy Affairs, Hussien al-Shihristani, for the energy file in Basra province.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Shihristani must stop his selective practices with Basra that is the main source of oil in Iraq,” noting that “He should pay special attention to Basra to realize the power shortage in the province.”

“Basra underwent hard condition with the approaching summer so the government should be fair with the citizens of Basra that suffers from pollution,” he concluded.
