3 people arrested for distributing sectarian religious publications

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested three persons in Dhi-Qar province on charges of promoting principles of (Yamani) sect.Security source told IraqiNews.com “The police patrols arrested three individuals while they were distributing leaflets and publications on behalf of (Ahmed al-Yamani) to the east of Nassiriya city, capital of Dhi-Qar province.””Among the detainees, there was a police officer with Captain rank,” the source pointed out.According to the website of Yamani, who was born in Basra and obtained the Bachelor in Civil Engineering, “He is the first Mahdi and the successor of the Prophet Mohamed and that he was speaking to Imam Mahdi who told him to inform the people to follow him as the messenger of Imam Mahdi since then some people started to believe in him on 2002. \END\
