Person suspected of targeting Baqouba worshipers captured

Baqouba (IraqiNews.com) The security forces arrested the person suspected of detonating the IED that targeted worshipers on last Friday in central Baqouba, capital of Diyala province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “The security forces arrested Omar Abdul Karim al-Jumaili who is suspected of detonating the IED that targeted the worshipers of Friday Prayer in central Baqouba after some hours of the explosion on last Friday.”

An IED has been detonated near Sariya Mosque in Baqouba targeting the unified Friday Prayer on late Friday, resulting in injuring seven worshippers.
