Hashimi to return to Erbil

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The fugitive Vice President, Tariq al-Hashimi’s office announced Hashimi’s intention to return to Kurdistan.

Hashimi’s media office reported on Wednesday “The Vice President plans to return to Erbil, capital of Kurdistan after he finished his contacts in Turkey.”

“In response to an official invitation, Hashimi arrived to Istanbul to meet the Prime Minister, Rajab Tayib Erdogan and senior officials,” the statement added.
