Kurdish delegation: Withdrawal from political process our choice if our message not answered

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdish negotiating delegation which has arrived to Baghdad on Wednesday announced “The withdrawal from the political process is one of the alternatives in hands of the Kurdish politicians in case the Iraqi National Alliance did not respond to our message concerning the pending issues with the central government.

Najeeb Abdullah, the head of the Kurdistani Islamic Union bloc, said “If respond of the INA was not positive then the other alternative is the best way for us and we may completely withdraw from the political process,” noting “We will wait for the INA’s respond to determine our attitude in this respect.”

“The message’s content is to emphasize the necessity of brining the political process back to its right path and re-adopt the commonalities on which the political process was built and ensure the application of balance in the representation of the social, ethnic components at the state institutions,” he concluded.
