Basra OC sets special plan for local elections’ special voting

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Basra Operations Commander, Maj. Gen. Faisal al-Ibadi, announced on Saturday setting special plan to let the security elements participate in the special voting for the local elections without affecting their duties in the province.

Ibadi told IraqiNews.com on Saturday “We prepared all the required arrangements prior to the special voting launch,” noting “The military voter whether from the army or the police can vote with high transparency.”

“The military duties were distributed on all the security divisions,” he added pointing out “There is no curfew in the province.”
