IHEC: Sorting of special voting to be done with general voting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced on Saturday “The sorting of the special voting will be done together with the general voting scheduled on 20th, April

The Chief of the Electoral Office, Muqdad al-Sherifi said in a press conference held in Baghdad on Saturday “The special voting centers will be closed at 5 p.m. and a press conference will be held to review the circumstances of the special voting.”

Sherifi added “We instructed to prevent the military forces of Anbar and Nineveh from taking part in the voting.”

“Up to now, no any forgery state registered in the special voting,” he added noting “There is heavy participation by the security forces in the special voting of the security elements.”
