Nijaifi’s coalition holds Maliki responsible for assassinations in Diyala

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Unified Slate headed by Osama al-Nijaifi, held the Premier Nouri al-Maliki responsibility for the assassinations occurred in Diyala province.

The spokesperson of the Slate, Dhafir al-Ani, said “The assassinations being occurred in Diyala came as a result of Maliki’s sectarian speech while attending the ceremony of announcing his electoral slate in Diyala.”

“Unified Slate strongly condemned the assassination of Najim al-Harbi, the head of the Iraqi Diyala Slate associated to Salih al-Mutleg in Diyala province,” according to the statement.
