IA soldier killed in Mosul

Nineveh, (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed due to an armed attack to the east of Mosul. Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Unidentified gunmen waged an armed attack targeting army checkpoint in Muharebeen neighborhood of eastern Mosul city.””

The gunmen managed to kill a soldier from the army checkpoint, then they fled to unknown destination,” the source added.” A security force transported the dead body of the soldier to the morgue and launched a raid – search operation in the nearby areas to search for the attackers,” the source concluded.
