Baghdad death toll hit 27 deaths, 70 injuries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The death toll of Baghdad blasts rose to hit 27 deaths and 70 injuries due to eight car bomb explosions in various areas of Baghdad.Security source reported to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “The death toll which resulted in eight car bomb explosions, that took place in various areas of Baghdad on Monday, reached 27 deaths and 70 wounded persons as well as the material damages.””Among the human casualties are the bodyguards of MP Baha al-Araji, the Head of Sadrist Bloc in the Parliament, who survived an assassination attempt when a car bomb exploded in Abass Ibn Fernas Square at the road leads to Baghdad International Airport,” the source added.Series of explosions took place in Babel, Dhi-Qar, Salah-il-Din, Kirkuk and Nineveh and resulted in killing and wounding many innocent people.
