Diwaniya police aborts 2 car bombs detonation

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Police Commander of Diwaniya province, Brigadier General, Abdul Jalil al-Asadi announced foiling terrorist operation by two car bombs seeking to enter Diwaniya city.

IraqiNews.com reporter said on Tuesday “Two car bombs (Kaya Type) exploded on the highway, 1 km far from Diwaniya police checkpoint within Shawmali district.”

Asadi added “The twin car bombs have been detonated by their organizers after they touched strict security measures in the province.”
