IS MP: Diyala, Salah il-Din provinces, electorally divided

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hassan Auzman, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that Diyala and Salah il-Din provinces are electorally divided.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Some provinces are controlled by some political sides and electorally divided such as Diyala and Salah il-Din provinces.”

“The political situation after the elections might not change a lot, but the current situation in some provinces prevents the citizens from voting for the sides that they like due to the terrorism and the promises of the political blocs,” he added.

“The politicians will be changed but the political parties are the same where it is based on a sectarian concept and not the proficiency,” he pointed out, assuring that “Unfortunately, all the constituents of the Iraqi people are threatened by others where the voting process will be based on this issue.”
