Iraiqya nominee targeted in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Four civilians were injured on Wednesday due to IED targeted a nominee for the Iraqiya slate to the south of Baghdad.

Security source told IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “An IED that was planted on a roadside in Madaen district, 30 km to the south of Baghdad exploded targeting the Iraqiya Slate nominee’s car. The explosion resulted in injuring four civilians who were accidently near the blast area without harming the nominee.”

“Security force rushed to the incident spot to transport the injured people to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
