Territories allocated to expand the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers announced that “The Cabinet approved to allocate plots of land for the religious authority of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali for free if the lands were for expanding the holy shrine or for building the religious schools or for establishing the projects of serving the pilgrims.”The Secretariat General of the Cabinet reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com that “The Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works will assume estimating the projects which will be established on the territories allocated by Religious Authority of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali.””The consent resolution was taken on bases of the suggestion of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, during the 14th session of the Cabinet held on 9/4/2013,” the statement added. \END\
