Helicopter falls down southern Fallujah

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A military helicopter fell down due to a technical fault on Friday evening near Habaniya Airbase of southern Fallujah in Anbar province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “A helicopter returning from a military operation in Tharthar area fell down near Habaniya airbase (10 km) to the south of Fallujah district which resulted in injuring four of its crew who were transported for hospital for treatment.”

“Security forces rushed to cordon off the location where the helicopter fell down,” the source concluded.
