Urgent – 16 citizens killed, injured in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) 16 persons were killed and injured due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device in Khalis district in Diyala.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED exploded near Abi Tamer mosque of northern Khalis district in Diyala, resulting in killing six prayers and injuring ten others.”

“The security forces blocked the explosion area and transferred the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment and the corpses to the morgue,” the source concluded.
