Nijaifi calls to hold elections in Anbar, Nineveh before students’ final exams

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, called to hold the Provincial Councils elections for Anbar and Nineveh provinces before the final exams of the students.

Speaking to Iraqi News and while observing the elections in Rashid hotel in the Green Zone, he said “I did not vote today because I am from Nineveh province and will participate in the elections in Nineveh province where we hope to hold the elections in Nineveh and Anbar provinces before the students’ final exams.”

He called “The citizens to participate in the elections to choose the best for their provinces and never adhere to the threats because they will determine the future of Iraq.”

He stressed the necessity of “Dealing with the new posts in a professional way to achieve the public interest rather than the personal one.”
