Urgent – .Local elections start in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The voting day of the local elections in Iraq started at 7 o’clock.

The voting centers were opened at 7 o’clock to receive the voters in 12 provinces.

While Anbar and Nineveh provinces were excluded from the elections on Saturday for security reasons and both the provinces will conduct the elections on 18th of next May.

Kirkuk was also excluded from the elections till ratifying the province’s provincial council law by the parliament.
