Öcalan calls PPK elements to withdraw from Turkey in next week

Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader, Abdullah Öcalan, called on the Party’s to start a gradual withdrawal from Turkey in next week and complete the withdrawal at the beginning of next September.

Sources from Kurdish Democracy & Salam Party cited ” Öcalan’s last message that was delivered by the Party’s delegation to the military command at Qindil mountain in Kurdistan Region was harsh in which Öcalan refused the proposal of the military command to extend the withdrawal for two years, but he accepted extending it to three months after he had demanded to totally withdraw in the past June.”

Öcalan stated that he attained guarantees from the Turkish intelligence where Ankara pledged not to offend any individual of the Turkish opposition during their withdrawal.”
