IP Wounded in Fallujah

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was wounded in an armed attack in Fallujah district within Anbar province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Sunday ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a security checkpoint of the Federal Police in Hadra Mohamdiya street of central Fallujah district,” noting that “The policeman was wounded during the attack .”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack.”

“The security forces transported the wounded policeman to the hospital for treatment and launched a raid – search campaign in the nearby areas looking for the attackers,” the source pointed out. END
