Iran considers PCs elections in Iraq as “Remarkable victory”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Islamic Republic of Iran considered the Provincial Councils elections in Iraq of last Saturday as “A remarkable and distinguished victory.”

A statement by the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Embassy extends its congratulations to the Iraqis for their awareness and patience on the occasion of these elections that is successful according to all measures.”

“This very important step is a great victory after the departure of the occupation forces from the country to enhance the political and constructional reforms,” the statement concluded.
