General strike starts in Anbar, Samara

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The general strike started in Anbar province and Samara district of southern Tikrit.

The reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) stated “Anbar and Samara witnessed the closing of all the governmental institutions including the schools and the universities.”

“The demonstrators threatened to make the strike as a civil rebellion if their demands are not responded to and lifting the siege from the demonstration location,” the reporter concluded.
