Iraq chairs Arab MoE preparatory meeting in Cairo

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq chairs the preparatory meeting of the Arab Ministers of Environment Conference in Cairo.The Ministry of Environment reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday “The Arab Ministers of Environment agreed on including the environmental soil within the education curriculum in the Arab countries and to accelerate implementing the green belts project in Arab World,” noting that “The Arab Ministers of Environment approved to invite Baghdad to host the celebrations on the occasion of the Arab Environment Day of 2013.”The Iraqi Minister of Environment, Sarkun Sliwa, stated at the end of the meeting, which was held by the Council of Arab Ministers of Environment at the headquarter of the Arab League in Cairo, that “The slogan of the Arab Environment Day 2013 will be ( green technique to achieve continuous development).”The Minister of Environment added “The Arab Ministers of Environment assured the necessity of expeditig implementation of the green belts project in Arab World.” END
