Maliki’s coalition rules out settling pending issues during expected visit of Kurdistan’s delegation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki ruled out settling the pending issues with Kurdistan Region during the expected visit of the Region’s delegation to Baghdad.

MP Sami al-Askari told IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “We hope this visit will settle the pending issues with Kurdistan, but we do not expect that.”

“We also wish the negotiating Kurdish delegation will be represented by top officials so as to be commissioned to conclude the required agreements and avoid the need for second or third return, but settling all the controversial points by agreement.”

“There is real intention by both of the Iraqi National Alliance and Kurdistan Alliance to end the problems and rejoin the parliament and the government by the Kurdish MPs and ministers,” he concluded.
