MoD: Armed groups occupy Salman bak police station, attack citizens

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense announced that armed groups occupied Salman bak police station and attack the citizens in Tuz Khurmatu district of eastern Tikrit.

A statement by the MoD received by IraqiNews.com cited “The citizens of Salman bak area urge the security forces to protect them from the armed groups.”

Earlier, some gunmen from the tribes attacked a military convoy in the linking road between Tikrit and Mosul cities which resulted in killing and injuring 28 members of the two sides.
