Iraqi Karate championship concluded in Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The competitions of the Karate Iraqi Clubs Championship was concluded at Shahid al-Mihrab Hall for gymnasium in Najaf province on Monday. The Head of the Central Karate Union, Abbas Mahdi, reported to IraqiNews.com ”The Karate Championship was held by the Central Union in coordination with the union’s branch in Najaf with the participation of (20) clubs from the Iraqi provinces.””The final results revealed the winning of the Southern Oil Club with the first position while Mena’a sport club scored the second position leaving the third position for Tathamun Club from Najaf province,” he added.”Many new talents were discovered during the championship and we seek in the next stage to pay attention for the training centers deployed in Iraqi provinces to spread the game widely in service for Iraq sports,” he concluded. \END\
