Official: “Kurds seek sovereign posts within Salah-il-Din government”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The technical assistant of Salah-il-Din Governor Amin Aziz Jawad pointed out that “The Kurds are seeking to get sovereign posts within Salah-il-Din local government since the candidate of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has won in Salah-il-Din provincial elections.”

PUKMEDIA website quoted Jawad as saying “The Kurds in Salah-il-Din province are seeking sovereign posts since they have worked a long the last four years to serve the citizens in the province and settle the disputes among different political entities.”

According to the website “The kurds represent about 38% in Tuz-Khurmato district of Salah-il-Din province.”

Aziz accused the central government of “marginalizing the Kurds and other Iraqi communities.”
