Salah-il-Din protests’ preacher released

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The security forces released the preacher of the protests yard in Samara city of southern Salah-il-Din province on Tuesday evening.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Samara Operations Command released Mohamed Taha al-Mahmodon, the preacher of the protests yard in Samarra city.”

“Mahmodon headed towards the protests yard to talk to the protests about the respectful and humanitarian treatment he received from the security forces, urging the demonstrators to cooperate with ISF,” the source added.

Earlier, a force from the Askareen Regiment within Samara Operations Command arrested the cleric while he was heading from his house towards the protests yard.”
