Pest control campaign launched in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The primary medical care department within Basra Health Directorate launched a campaign to control rodents and insects in several areas of Basra province.The Director General of Basra Health Directorate, Dr. Riad Abdul Amir, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com “The Shat al-Arab sector carried out a campaign to control rodents and insects in Kardlan area.””The campaign included distrusting mousetraps on residential units to be taken back on the next day,” he added.”The pest control included spraying pesticides in participation with the teams of the health directorate,” he pointed out.”The health teams waged a campaign to control rodents in Rumela area within Fayhaa district and the campaign was launched on 10/April and will last until 9/May,” he concluded. \END\
