IA, CDT, RCS rescue families of rain floods in Wasit

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) The forces of the Iraqi Army and the civil defense teams as well the Red Crescent society rushed to rescue the families out of the rain floods in Wasit province.The correspondent of IraqiNews.com reported that “Dozens of families ran away to the eastern area of Sheikh Saad of southern Wasit province due to sinking of their villages and collapse of their mud made houses,” noting that “The teams of the civil defense and the Red Crescent Society in addition to the Iraqi Army Forces all rushed to rescue the families out of rain floods.”Many families in the rural areas of Wasit province evacuated their houses after the rain floods that swept their villages. \END\
