Shawis meets with Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier for the Economic Affairs, Ruz Nouri Shawis, met the Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq after the end of his tasks in Iraq.

A statement by Shawis’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Monday cited “Shawis received the Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Shareef Shaheen, due to the end of his tasks in Iraq.”

“Sahwis appreciated Shaheen’s efforts in Iraq, wishing him all the best,” the statement added.

“For his part, Shaheen appreciated Shawis’s support to the mutual relations, expressing his pleasure to work in Iraq in such crucial period of its history,” the statement concluded.
