Alewi urges for urgent efforts to aid citizens affected by floods

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Kareem Alewi, of Maysan province called the Central Government and the Local Government to conduct urgent efforts to aid the citizens affected by the floods witnessed in the province due to the heavy rains.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Many villages were afflicted by the floods and lost much of their economic resources so the government must urgently help them.”

“There are critical consequences due to the mines drifted by the floods to the cities and the villages so they may explode against the citizens,” he concluded.
