Jaafary, outgoing Egyptian Ambassador discuss Iraqi-Egyptian bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, discussed with the outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Sharif Shaheen, the Iraqi-Egyptian bilateral relations.

A statement by Jaafary’s office reported on Wednesday “Jaafary received at his office in Baghdad, the former Egyptian Ambassador for Iraq, where they conferred about the most important issues between Iraq and Egypt and the commonalities that gather both countries.”

Jaafary stressed that “Iraq and Egypt have great qualifications that can be exploited to let the two peoples live advanced present and bright future,” confirming “Iraq seeks to hold best relations will all world countries to develop the state institutions on civilizational bases.”

For his part, the Egyptian Ambassador assured that “Egypt seeks to enhance its relations with Iraq in various fields and upgrade the mutual cooperation between both countries,” the statement added.
