Kurdistan Region VP calls politicians to work with security forces on combating terrorists

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Kurdistan Region Vice President, Kosert Rasoul called on all the political sides to support and back the security forces to combat the terrorists, calling the security forces at the same time, to work hard in this regard.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK website “Rasoul visited Kirkuk where he met with its Governor, Najmeddin Karim. During the meeting, Kurdistan Region VP expressed his support to Kirkuk administration and condemned the terrorist bombings that occurred in the province, urging the security forces to exert further efforts to fight the terrorists.”

“On other hand, Kurdistan Region VP and Kirkuk governor discussed the current situation in Kirkuk, and stressed the necessity to strengthen the harmony among the province’s components, describing applying the Constitution’s items as best solution to address all problems,” the statement added.

“Rasoul also visited PUK office in Kirkuk where he talked about the political developments and the recent visit of the PUK to Baghdad, confirming “The PUK upholds the dialogue to resolve all problems,” the statement concluded.
