IED defused in Amara [05/10/2013]

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Department found an Improvised Explosive Device in al-Mijar al-Kabier district of southern Amara city.”

Police source stated to IraqiNews.com “The local-made IED involved 25 kg of C4 explosives.”

“The operation was done by the virtue of intelligence information,” the source added.

“The EOD elements defused the IED safely,” the source concluded.
