Huge explosion targets security official in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Several citizens were either killed or injured due to explosion of a tanker for transporting oil in Shurqat district of northern Tikrity city, the center of Salah-il-Din province.security source reported to IraqiNews.com Saturday “An Improvised Explosiove Tanker exploded targeting the house of Colonel, Ali Jasim, the commander of Nineveh Intelligence Operations Command, located in Sidayra of the Left Coast in Shurqat district of northern Tikrit on Saturday,” noting that “The explosion resulted in destroying the house of Col. Ali and two other houses.””Ambulances and civil defense units rushed to the explosion area,” the source added, stressing that “Casualties of the explosion are not identified yet.”
