Jaafary warns PKK from offending Iraq\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, warned the PKK (Turkish opposition party) from offending Iraq’s sovereignty and stability after the Party’s elements withdrawal from Turkey and settling in north of Iraq according to an agreement between PKK’s chief, Abdullah Ojlan with the Turkish government.

A statement by the INA quoted Jaafary as saying “The agreement that was reached between Turkey and its opposition is a regional agreement to push the PKK towards Iraq despite the fact that Iraq is not a side in this agreement.”

Iraq’s sovereignty is a redline and it should not be a victim for settling disputes, hence the PKK have to respect the Iraqi regime and not to harm the country’s security nor interfere in its internal affairs,” he added.

The PKK announced on last Wednesday its official withdrawal from Turkey towards Qindeel mountains in north of Iraq according to an agreement concluded between Turkey and the opposition party.
