Nijaifi’s Slate: Forming Government of political majority not possible

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Faris al-Sinjari, of Motahidon Slate headed by Osama al-Nijaifi, assured that it is not possible to form a government of political majority or to conduct early elections due to the short term that remained for the Government and for the Kurdish rejection for the majority.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “The Independent High Electoral Commission announced that it needs a period of not less than six months to conduct early elections which means it is equal to the remaining time of the current government’s term.”

Concerning that proposal to form a government of political majority, he said “The Kurdistani Alliance is key bloc that rejects forming a government of political majority.”
